COVID test kits available at NU-Richwood library

As seasonal flu activity starts to edge up in Ohio, and many parts of the US, it is a good time to get plenty of rest, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and get a flu shot. Public health nurses from the Union County Health Department will be back at the Richwood- North Union Library Saturday, Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide a convenient immunization opportunity for residents of Northern Union County.

“Often in Union County and Ohio, we see flu hospitalizations and flu activity peak after Christmas. So now is a good time to get a flu shot. A flu shot can help prevent spreading the flu to your loved ones and can help reduce your probability of a serious case of the flu,” said Ma…
