Michael Madison Lucas Sr.

CMDR Michael Madison Lucas Sr. USNR-R age 78 of Columbus, OH died in the early morning of Mon. November 20th 2023 at Grant Hospital of Columbus after suffering a collapse from a sudden inoperable brain hemorrhage in his home. Born on January 9th, 1945 in Bellefontaine, OH he was the son of Albert Lemuel Lucas and Inez Jean Sabins. He was married on December 7th, 1963 (on Pearl Harbor Day so he would ‘never forget’ his anniversary) to Sharon Maurene Poast in Bowling Green, OH and together they shared 59 years of marriage. Michael is survived by his wife Sharon; two sons Michael Madison Jr. and R. Samuel and grandson Liam Maxwell Lucas. He is also survived by his sister Judy Payne and half-brother Earl Geho.
