North Union student named FFA National Champ

A North Union FFA member was named national champion at the recent Nation FFA Convention.

During the fourth session of the 96th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, North Union FFA member Bailee Amstutz was selected as the national champion in the area of Sheep Production Proficiency.

After Amstutz won the state title, she moved on to the national competition where it was narrowed down to the top four in the nation.

Amstutz has been in the livestock game for most of her life, having sold her first lamb on the sale block when she was just two-years old. At the age of six, her grandmother gave Amstutz her first show lamb. Today, she has 78 ewe…
