UCHD has COVID tests available ahead of holiday

As community members prepare for Thanksgiving gatherings, the Union County Health Department is offering free COVID test kits.

The test kits can be reserved online at unioncountyCOVID. org/testing and picked up on Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the health department, 940 London Ave.

There is currently no limit on the number of kits that can be requested, although that is subject change is demand begins to exceed the health department’s supply. The kits being provided have a mid-December expiration date.

One person is allowed to pick up kits for multiple households.
