NU concludes volleyball season against Lady Barons in Division II district semifinal

The will, fight and desire to extend the season for the North Union volleyball team was everywhere to be found, last week.

At the conclusion of the night, however, the Lady Cats were not able to achieve that goal as they lost to Buckeye Valley 20-25, 24-26, 14-25 on last Thursday at Westerville Central. The setback in the Division II district semifinals ended NU’s season.

The Lady Cats went into the contest as the sixth seed and BV is the fourth seed.

“We fought the entire time and that is a testament to what they have done all season,” NU Head Coach Alexis Maenz said. “We made some errors that were momentum killers.”
