Sheriff’s Report

 

Police responded to the scene of an accident involving David W. Schultz, 37, of Mill Wood Boulevard and Perry Hopkins, 49, of Kenton that occurred on Northwoods Drive at 4:53 p.m. Sept. 23. Reports indicate Hopkins was stopped and waiting on oncoming traffic at the intersection. Schultz came up from behind and rear-ended Hopkins’ vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Schultz was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

A deputy arrested Kody L. Welch, 31, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:19 a.m. Sept. 22. He was taken before the judge and released on bond.
