UCHD project earns national honor

The Union County Health Department is one of just twenty-three local health departments across the nation to earn a 2023 Model Practice award from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO).

The Union County Health Department’s award-winning pilot project studied how locking pill bottles could increase safety and access for medications used to treat people with substance use disorders.
