LaRue Newspaper Quits The Struggle: Because the paper has been operating at a loss, the LaRue News has suspended publication indefinitely, so the editor, Charles W. Ellis, announced. The paper, a weekly, was established in 1883. It was owned by Grant Copeland, of Washington.

A Subscriber 50 Years: In renewing her subscription to the Gazette, Mrs. Hanna Smart, of Magnetic Springs, says she has been a subscriber to the Gazette for fifty years and cannot do without it.
